The Peruvian Cultural Center (PCC) is a cultural and educational organization whose main goal is to promote the different aspects of Peruvian and South American culture.  The PCC mission places special emphasis on culture translated via history, folklore, visual arts, music, traditional and modern dance, and cuisine taking into account the European, African, Native Indian (Incas) and Asian heritage of Peru. The primary effort of the PCC is to provide education and awareness of the Peruvian culture through different ways, such as: seminars, presentations of Peruvian folkloric dances and music, lessons of native musical instruments, and Peruvian cuisine. The PCC strongly believes that the strength of the Unites States is based on its rich diversity and the contributions that each of the ethnic groups have made in the American melting pot.  The PCC believes that as newcomers integrate into this great nation, being able to preserve one's cultural heritage only strengthens the love and respect for the adopted land.  As has been done in Mexican American, German American, Irish American, and other ethnic communities, the PCC wants to unite Peruvian Americans to become an important contributor to the greatness of this country.
